- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar, divided
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a medium bowl, combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter. Press about 2 tablespoons of the mixture into the bottom of each muffin liner.
- In a large bowl, beat 1 cup powdered sugar, peanut butter, and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon the peanut butter mixture over the cookie crusts, spreading evenly.
- In a small saucepan, heat heavy cream until simmering. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
- Stir in remaining 1/4 cup powdered sugar and milk into the chocolate mixture until well combined.
- Pour the chocolate ganache over the peanut butter layer in each cup.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
- Carefully remove from muffin pan and serve.
Notes
- Store leftover dessert cups in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- For a richer chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips for the ganache.
- You can add a sprinkle of sea salt on top of the ganache before chilling for a sweet and salty twist.
