- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices bacon
- 4 pineapple rings, fresh or canned
- 4 hamburger buns
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Lettuce leaves, for serving
- Tomato slices, for serving
- Red onion slices, for serving
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently to combine.
- Form the beef mixture into four equal patties.
- Grill bacon until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel-lined plate.
- Grill pineapple rings for 2-3 minutes per side, until grill marks appear and they are slightly caramelized.
- Grill hamburger patties for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness.
- During the last minute of cooking, place buns cut-side down on the grill to toast lightly.
- Assemble burgers: Place a patty on each bun, top with a pineapple ring, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- For extra flavor, brush pineapple rings with a little brown sugar before grilling.
- You can add a slice of cheese to the burgers during the last minute of cooking.
