Tender chicken wings coated in a sweet and spicy barbecue sauce, slow-cooked to perfection.

- 3 pounds chicken wings, cut into drumettes and flats
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sriracha or hot sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, honey, soy sauce, sriracha, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss to coat evenly with the sauce.
- Transfer the coated wings to a slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours, or until the wings are tender and cooked through.
- Serve the wings warm with the sauce from the slow cooker.
Notes
- For crispier wings, you can broil them for a few minutes after slow cooking.
- Adjust the amount of sriracha to control the level of spice.
- These wings are great as an appetizer or a main dish.
