- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, onion, milk, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf.
- Place the meatloaf in your slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
- You can add other seasonings like garlic powder or dried herbs.
- For a glaze, mix ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard and spread over the meatloaf during the last hour of cooking.
- Do not overmix the meatloaf mixture, as this can make it tough.
