- 1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
- 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
- 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
- 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 medium tomatoes, diced
- 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, mix refried beans and taco seasoning. Spread this mixture evenly onto the bottom of a 9×13 inch serving dish.
- In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in sour cream. Spread this mixture over the bean layer.
- Carefully spread salsa over the cream cheese layer.
- Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the salsa.
- Top with shredded lettuce.
- Scatter diced tomatoes over the lettuce.
- Finally, sprinkle with sliced black olives.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For best results, use full-fat cream cheese and sour cream.
- You can prepare this dip a few hours in advance.
- Serve with tortilla chips, corn chips, or pita bread.
