  • 1 (1 ounce) packet taco seasoning
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 2 medium tomatoes, diced
  • 1 (2.25 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, mix refried beans and taco seasoning. Spread this mixture evenly onto the bottom of a 9×13 inch serving dish.
  2. In another bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Fold in sour cream. Spread this mixture over the bean layer.
  3. Carefully spread salsa over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese evenly over the salsa.
  5. Top with shredded lettuce.
  6. Scatter diced tomatoes over the lettuce.
  7. Finally, sprinkle with sliced black olives.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow flavors to meld.
