- 1 cup boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Beat on medium speed with an electric mixer or by hand until well combined.
- Carefully stir in the boiling water. The batter will be thin.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
