Description

A rich and creamy peanut butter pie with a chocolate cookie crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (about 20 cookies)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 (12 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Mix together the crushed cookies and melted butter. Press into the bottom of a 9-inch pie plate. Freeze for 10 minutes.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
  3. Gradually beat in the milk until smooth.
  4. Fold in the thawed whipped topping.
  5. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture into the prepared crust.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix the remaining cream cheese mixture with the peanut butter until smooth.
  7. Spread the peanut butter mixture over the layer in the pie crust.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

  • For an extra touch, drizzle with chocolate syrup or sprinkle with chopped peanuts before serving.
