Ingredients

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rolled oats
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium saucepan, combine butter, sugar, milk, and cocoa powder.
- Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
- Boil for exactly 1 minute, then remove from heat.
- Stir in peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Add rolled oats and stir until well combined.
- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Let the cookies cool and set for at least 15-30 minutes.
Notes
- For firmer cookies, boil the mixture for 1.5 minutes.
- Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature.
