Easy no-bake apple cake with layers of cookies and cream.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 lbs apples
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 3 (7 ounce) packages ladyfingers

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples.
  2. In a large saucepan, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and water.
  3. Cook over medium heat until apples are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Let cool.
  4. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in whipped cream.
  7. Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with a layer of ladyfingers.
  8. Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers.
  9. Spread half of the cooled apple mixture over the cream cheese.
  10. Repeat layers.
  11. Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
