Easy no-bake apple cake with layers of cookies and cream.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream, whipped
- 3 (7 ounce) packages ladyfingers
Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice apples.
- In a large saucepan, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and water.
- Cook over medium heat until apples are tender, about 15-20 minutes. Let cool.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
- Stir in vanilla extract.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with a layer of ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the cream cheese mixture over the ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the cooled apple mixture over the cream cheese.
- Repeat layers.
- Chill for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
- You can use other fruits like peaches or pears.
- Add nuts or caramel for extra flavor.
