Description

Indulge in these irresistible Maple Bacon Cinnamon Rolls, a sweet and savory treat perfect for any occasion. Fluffy cinnamon roll dough is swirled with a rich maple-sugar filling and topped with crispy, salty bacon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 4 strips bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the biscuit dough and press the biscuits together on a lightly floured surface to form a rectangle.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Brush the biscuit rectangle with the melted butter.
  5. Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly over the buttered rectangle.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the sugar mixture.
  7. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll up the dough.
  8. Slice the roll into 6 equal pieces.
  9. Place the cinnamon roll slices cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  11. While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze: whisk together the maple syrup, softened butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
  12. Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Ensure the bacon is cooked very crisp so it doesn’t become soggy in the rolls.
  • If you prefer a thinner glaze, add a teaspoon of milk or cream at a time until desired consistency is reached.
