Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 4 strips bacon, cooked until crisp and crumbled
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the biscuit dough and press the biscuits together on a lightly floured surface to form a rectangle.
- In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon.
- Brush the biscuit rectangle with the melted butter.
- Sprinkle the sugar-cinnamon mixture evenly over the buttered rectangle.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the sugar mixture.
- Starting from one long edge, tightly roll up the dough.
- Slice the roll into 6 equal pieces.
- Place the cinnamon roll slices cut-side up in a greased baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- While the rolls are baking, prepare the glaze: whisk together the maple syrup, softened butter, and powdered sugar until smooth.
- Drizzle the glaze over the warm cinnamon rolls before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of nutmeg to the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Ensure the bacon is cooked very crisp so it doesn’t become soggy in the rolls.
- If you prefer a thinner glaze, add a teaspoon of milk or cream at a time until desired consistency is reached.
