Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the cold milk and stir until the dough just comes together. Do not overmix.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead a few times.
- Pat or roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness. Cut out desired shapes using a cookie cutter or knife.
- Place the cutouts on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly on the baking sheet before serving.
