Ingredients

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-8 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
- Remove chicken from skillet and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice chicken.
- Toast bread slices.
- Assemble sandwiches: place lettuce leaves, sliced chicken, and tomato slices on bread.
- Serve immediately.

- You can add your favorite condiments like mayonnaise or mustard.
- For extra flavor, grill the chicken instead of pan-frying.
