Ingredients

  • 2 (6-8 oz) filet mignon steaks
  • 1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 (10 oz) lobster tail
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 shallot, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup white wine
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat steaks dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear steaks for 2-3 minutes per side until browned.
  5. Transfer skillet to preheated oven and cook for 8-12 minutes for medium-rare, or to desired doneness.
  6. While steaks cook, prepare the sauce. Melt butter in a separate pan over medium heat.
  7. Add shallot and cook until softened, about 2 minutes.
  8. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute more.
  9. Pour in white wine and scrape up any brown bits from the bottom of the pan. Bring to a simmer and reduce by half.
  10. Add heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
