Ingredients

- 1 lb shredded cabbage and carrots
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 jalapeno, finely chopped (optional)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine shredded cabbage and carrots.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice, cilantro, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- If using, stir in the chopped jalapeno.
- Pour the dressing over the cabbage mixture and toss to coat evenly.
- Chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a spicier slaw, add more jalapeno or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- You can substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream for a lighter version.
