- 1 lb ground meat
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pasta, cooked
- Shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Cook ground meat and onion in a large skillet over medium heat until meat is browned and onion is softened. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a simmer.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked pasta. Top with shredded cheese if desired.

- You can use any ground meat you prefer.
- Add other vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini.
