A flavorful taco salad featuring seasoned ground beef, fresh vegetables, and crushed Doritos.
Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 head lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1 (10 ounce) bag Doritos, crushed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
Instructions
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water. Simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until slightly thickened.
- In a large bowl, combine lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, olives, and red onion.
- Add the seasoned ground beef to the vegetable mixture.
- Just before serving, add the crushed Doritos, sour cream, and salsa. Toss to combine.
Notes
- You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for the ground beef.
- Adjust the amount of sour cream and salsa to your preference.
- Add other toppings like corn, avocado, or jalapeños.
