Creamy Chicken Marsala Pasta is a rich, flavorful dish featuring tender chicken and mushrooms in a creamy Marsala wine sauce, served over pasta.

- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 8 ounces cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 pound fettuccine or pasta of choice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
- Season chicken slices with salt and pepper. Dredge chicken in flour, shaking off excess.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
- Add butter to the same skillet. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in Marsala wine and chicken broth. Bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally, until sauce thickens slightly, about 3-5 minutes.
- Return cooked chicken to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat.
- Add cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine with the chicken and sauce.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dry Marsala wine.
- Adjust the amount of heavy cream for your desired sauce consistency.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
