- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Optional: 1 teaspoon dried herbs (rosemary, thyme, or oregano)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, and optional herbs.
- Add olive oil and water. Mix until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for 2-3 minutes until smooth.
- Roll out the dough very thinly, about 1/16 inch thick, between two sheets of parchment paper.
- Cut the dough into desired cracker shapes using a knife or pizza cutter.
- Carefully transfer the crackers to the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Let cool completely on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, sprinkle with flaky sea salt before baking.
- Store crackers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week.
