Description
Tender broiled lobster tails bathed in a rich, creamy garlic butter sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 lobster tails (4–5 ounces each)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your broiler to high. Line a baking sheet with foil.
- Using kitchen shears, cut down the top center of each lobster tail shell, stopping just before the tail fin. Gently pull the meat up through the opening, resting it on top of the shell.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, olive oil, and minced garlic. Brush half of this mixture over the lobster meat.
- Place the lobster tails on the prepared baking sheet.
- Broil for 8-10 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through.
- While the lobster broils, in a small saucepan, combine the remaining garlic butter mixture and heavy cream. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
- Remove the sauce from heat and stir in fresh parsley and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve the broiled lobster tails immediately, spooning the creamy garlic butter sauce over them.
Notes
- Ensure lobster tails are thawed completely if frozen.
- Do not overcook the lobster, as it can become tough.
- Adjust garlic and lemon juice to your taste.
