- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Combine milk, oil, eggs, vanilla extract, sugar, and salt in a blender. Blend until smooth.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
- Pour the wet ingredients from the blender into the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, do not overmix.
- Pour batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
